Sound Modifications:  Ceramic fiber blanket insulation, rated to 2400 F, Tape Mod (1 layer).  Ceramic fiber is an excellent high frequency sound absorber (good for absorbing pinging sounds.) As thickness increases, sound absorbing coefficient for mid-low frequency increases as well. Tape mod is used to dampen vibrations.
